The DJ Bean Pick System

About 250 times a year DJ publishes a pick. Sometimes he’ll spit out more than one pick a day. Sometimes not.

DJ likes the NBA, the NFL, NCAA Men’s Basketball, NCAA Football, and the NHL.

The System

It’s this simple:

1 Get DJ’s latest pick.

2 At a legal sportsbook, bet the way DJ’s pick says to bet.

An Example:
Let’s say your bets win 60% of the time and you make 30 even money bets of $1,000 each. That’s 18 wins and 12 losses. Each time you lose, you lose $1,000. Each time you win, you get back $1,900 ($1,000 original bet and $900* win). Subtract the $35 you paid for each winning Jaw’s Pick and that’s a total of $3,570** in winnings.

*$1,000 win minus 10% sportsbook fee.
**(18 x ($900 – $35)) – (12 x $1,000) = $3,570

Consistency is the key to winning. Consistency takes discipline. Following a sports forecaster (often called a handicapper) with a winning record is useless if you are not disciplined and don’t play their picks consistently. This is how you can make probabilities and an accurate sports forecaster work for you.

Streaks happen. DJ’s record consists of more streaks than single wins or losses. His winning streaks go from 2 to 13 wins in a row. His losing streaks go from 2 to 5 losses in a row. You can make those streaks work for you — decreasing your financial losses while increasing your financial wins. After every loss, decrease your next bet by a fraction, 10% or so. Do the same with wins; after a win increase the next bet by a fraction of your last bet, by 10% or so. Lose less. Win more.

Streaks happen. Be disciplined. Play consistently.

“I look for what the linemakers miss. I call them gift games. Those are the ones I play.

“I do my homework and I’m good at picking winners. I’ve been making winning picks for twenty-plus years.

“My website is straightforward. Not a lot of B.S. I plainly show the complete history of my picks. I show the details of my win/loss records right up front.”

Value Pricing

DJ’s Value Pricing is calculated on his per-league lifetime average and modified by an algorithmic nod to the trend of his last 10 picks in each of those leagues. The maximum charge for any pick is $35 – even when he’s above 70% – and anything below 53.5% is free.
